Following the completion of her graphic design degree at Leeds Metropolitan University, Shazia embarked on a journey of self-discovery. On her travels, she drew using only pen and paper – something she says helped her to produce her most honest sketches to date.

Upon returning to the UK, Shazia worked as a designer before going freelance and starting a family. She is now a full-time artist and is known for her innocent artworks, which are created using travel diaries, people-watching and her own imagination.
