Published in 1987, “Marvel Saga #22” is a Marvel Superhero unique edition of the issue’s cover, hand-signed by John Romita Sr. Published from 1985 to 1987, The Marvel Saga was a comic book series that told the story of the first 25 years of the Marvel Universe in a sequential, narrative story.

American comic book artist, the late great , is known not only for his realistic, naturalist and fluid art style but also for his work on Marvel Comics including The Amazing Spider-Man and for co-creating iconic characters including Wolverine, Mary Jane Watson, and Luke Cage. Having heavily influenced the iconic look of Marvel comics we adore today, Romita was later promoted as Marvel’s art director and later inducted in the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2002 and the Inkwell Awards Joe Sinnott Hall of Fame in 2020.
